HALLO MIJN VRIENDIN! Oh dear, I am so excited to learn more DUTCH FROM YOU! YOUR HOME IS GLORIOUS! Oh, my Snoopy picture...do you know that Charles Schultz was born here in Minnesota? He was from St. Paul, the other half of my city, Minneapolis. They call it The Twin Cities since they are so close to each other. There are many statues of the Peanuts characters standing ALL OVER THE TWIN CITIES!!! Oh, I spent some time yesterday studying my Dutch grammar! I had so much fun. My husband said, "Only YOU would enjoy a book on linguistics." Indeed. Why? Because I can learn to communicate with friends EVERYWHERE.

CHOCOLATE RED WINE from the Netherlands!
The wine vendor said it is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! I will raise my glass and think of you all whom I adore out there in the Netherlands.....May this day be happy and bright always dearest!

Hi, dearest!! We are fine and fine around here!! The supper yesterday was really nice! Children enjoyed their gifts, family all joined around the tree and laughing while watching the kids open their presents!!! It is a magical season for the little ones, don't you think sweet Saskia? We had tropical fruits and ice cream for dessert (which I am crazy for!!!:o))
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThis morning I baked a chocolate cake and it seems Mrs. Claus helped me cause the cake is delicious (which is NOT common as long as I am NOT good for cakes)...:o)
We are having some get together at an aunt's home in an hour and more treats and sweets come then!!!:o)
Aila got a biquini (do you call it this way??? swimming suit) in pink and with Minie Mouse on it!!! She looks gorgeous in it!!!rsrsrsrs...she wants to spend the day wearing it!!!rsrsrs...kids!!!
She got a doll too and, you know it much better then me, she pretends she is the doll's mom...rsrsrs...oh my!!
