BeantwoordenVerwijderenSASKIA!!! I will meet you around the corner of that darling little village street. ... with coffee mug in hand, big winter coat upon my shoulders, LET'S PARTY DOWN TOGETHER!!! Let's amble through the old streets, chat, try out my Dutch, plot and plan projects and smile together. Yes dearest, that HUGE PICTURE of my lampshade....that is simply a CHILD'S TUTU that I stretched over my lampshade!!! I had wanted to doll up my plan shade with some linen, but without a sewing machine, that is impossible to make. I already had the tutu upstairs where it is rarely seen. It was on my mannequin, Pierette, and I just decided to try it on my shade. MY HUSBAND LOVES IT! Just find a child's tutu, make sure it has an elastic waist. Fit it over your shade and VOILÀ!!!! If you try it, post it! I am gonna find a TURQUOISE one to change in the summer!!!
