De sprookjes van Elsa Beskow zijn zo mooi. De illustraties zijn werkelijk prachtig. In het bekende 'Olle's skitocht' verschijnt Vrouwtje Dooi:
We vinden juist de sneeuw zo mooi!
Ik moest er vanmiddag even aan denken. Vrouwtje Dooi is er natuurlijk nog lang niet, de lente is immers nog niet in zicht. Wellicht slaapt zij zacht naast de wortelkinderen ....
Het verhaaltje van Tante Groen, Tante Bruin, Tante Paars is vooral erg schattig.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt was a little surprised to see your post about Elsa Beskow today, but her books have been written in many languages, of course ... From about 1930-40 until today we had a wonderful talented children's writers in Sweden and Norway, Elsa Beskow, Astrid Lindgren, Anne-Cath Vestly, Kjell Aukrust and Thorbjørn Egner. None of them live more, but all children and adults in Norway and Sweden loves them and knows their stories - we might take the property to them.
As a child I loved the story about Aunt Green, Aunt Brown and Aunt Violet and my best friend in Denmark has a shop called Aunt Brown - thanks for a nice reunion.
