Hi Saskia, I bought faux yellow roses at the Daiso, the Japanese store yesterday and plopped them in my pitcher in the living room. A friend visiting today thought they were real. They really, really look good -- and the best part, they will stay that way forever. Is your rose Japanese too? Ha! :) Have a great day. Tammy
